Background: (originally iPhone OS) is a mobile operating system created by Apple Inc. It distributed exclusively for Apple hardware. iOS is the operating system that presently powers many of the company’s mobile devices, including the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It is the second most popular mobile operating system in the world by sales, after Android. iPad tablets are also the second most popular, by sales, against Android since 2013.

iOS was created in 2007, for the iPhone. In 2007, it has been extended to support iPod Touch. In 2010, it was extended to support iPad. In 2013, Apple extened it to support the iPad Mini. There were more than 1.4 million iOS applications in Jan 2015. These mobile apps have been downloaded more than 100 billion times.
